Spirals of Memory explores the relationship between time, repetition, and remembrance.

The series is inspired by ancient spiral forms found throughout nature, archaeology, and human culture. Most visibly, it draws from the geometry of ammonites—forms that survived as traces long after the lives that produced them disappeared.

The spiral appears here not as decoration, but as a structure of return. It suggests growth without repetition, movement without departure, and memory that expands while remaining connected to its origin.

Across the works, the spiral becomes a visual language for accumulated time. Layers of experience, erosion, transformation, and persistence unfold through rhythms that echo both natural processes and human histories.

Like geological formations or archaeological remains, these images invite slow looking. They do not present narratives. Instead, they offer traces—evidence that something has passed through time and continues to resonate.

Created through a process of excavation and revelation, the paintings uncover light from darkness, allowing forms to emerge gradually from the surface.
