About the Original Artwork

In Enigma, a face in profile emerges beside a cluster of rounded forms against an ochre field. The work approaches painting as a field of perception. Its form hovers at the edge of disappearance, inviting the viewer to remain with rhythm, stillness and the experience of looking. The work suspends the need to decipher an image or resolve a story. Its presence lies in that pause, where recognition can occur without explanation.
